Let’s beat the winter chill with K-2 Storybook Theater at Northern Starz! Beginning in January, we welcome these young Thespians to learn the art of theatre using classic children’s Stories! Read on…and register soon! Class sizes are limited and classes will FILL UP quickly!
SHORT PLAYS Storybook Theatre
Children age 5 (who are in Kindergarten) thru grade 2
Wednesdays, January 18 - March 8, 2023
Class limit: 8 students
Two class times offered: (the same content will be taught in each class)
- 5:45 to 6:30 pm
- 6:45 to 7:30 pm
Using age appropriate scripts - with words and pictures - these young Thespian students will bring storybook stories to life on stage, using basic theatre principles ~ movement, characterization, props and costumes in the portrayal of a variety of children’s storybook classics. Students will showcase their stagecraft on March 8th. (Students must be potty trained to attend this class). +
